Crime Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure

Crime prevention is "THE" number one pound of Cure when it comes to effectiveness. The payoff is no Criminal Justice Cost or paper work for the Police officer District Attorney's, Court System, Judges, Prison System and Last but not least No Victims.
It appears the war on crime is being waged in the Criminal Justice System, after the crime is committed. Costing Victims, and the Tax Payer a fortune in Justice system cost.
Prisons are not cheap, Jail systems awaiting trial are not Cheap, Court Houses, District Attorney's, Judges, and all that stinking paper work .. YUK ! If the Thin Blue Line got a little thicker and devoted more Police to Prevention strategies we draw the line where it starts, Not where it makes us all victims. Why not invest in more Police?
If not we will be building many many more Prisons.
